Meet Our Leisure Staff

Thea Bailey-Thea has been in the travel industry since 1996. Because of family considerations that required relocations, her early experience included travel suppliers ITA and Windjammers as well as two independent travel agencies.

We were delighted to have her and her experience when she joined Gwins Travel in 2004. Thea has a solid client base and in large part because of her caring personality and dedication to providing the very best customer service.

Thea is recognized as a destination specialist with Princess Cruises, AM Resorts, Globus Tours, Sandals & Couples Properties and the Hawaiian Islands.

One of her goals is to add Australia and New Zealand to her specialization credentials. Thea has visited destinations that include Germany, Hawaii, Jamaica, Barbados, Aruba, St. Thomas, Costa Rica, Grand Turk, St. Maarten and Grand Cayman Island.

Thea has also visited the Mexican resorts of Cabo San Lucas, Riviera Maya, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta and most recently a cruise through the Panama Canal.

Her dream holiday would include a European river cruise and closer to home…Cuba.

Whether you are interested in an all-exclusive island resort or a country- hopping cruise adventure she looks forward to the opportunity to plan your well deserved vacation and future holidays.

Colleen Campanella -Colleen began her career in the travel industry in 1993 when she joined Maritz Travel Company as a transportation agent for incentive travel programs. In addition to product planning and later as a trainer, Colleen spent five years as a Travel Director escorting incentive group travel participants to destinations around the world. As a result of this phase of her experience, she has traveled to every continent except for Antarctica and perhaps will have the opportunity to visit there and complete the list.

With this background and a desire to work in the leisure travel marketplace, Colleen joined Gwins Travel in 2005 as a travel counselor where she quickly learned the nuances of personal and vacation travel and is currently one of the top agents at Gwins Travel. In fact, Colleen was recipient of the 2015 Leisure Agent of the Year.

In addition to her personal accounts, she has become the lead agent in the new world of social media and assists our Vice President of Operations in monitoring this new wave of selling and marketing.

Colleen has received specialist status and recognition form industry providers such as: Apple Vacations, Princess, Cunard, Holland America, Norwegian and Windstar cruise lines.

She also has status with tour operators e.g. Ski.Com, Globus Journeys, Club Med and G-Adventures.

Colleen would love the opportunity share her skills and experience for your next vacation or to fulfill that “bucket –list” dream holiday.

Vicki Kopp-With over forty years of travel industry experience, when Vicki is asked where has she traveled she finds it easier to answer with destinations that are still on her “bucket list”.

Vicki is not quite a member of the Travelers Century Club, the organization that monitors and determines all eligible countries (currently 320) but it definitely is her goal.

She began her travel career in 1975 and four years later earned her CTC designation which signifies the highest standard of professionalism in the travel industry. Training and familiarization is an ongoing practice not to mention every day experience in the office or escorting my client group travel activity. Our industry continues to evolve and is an eternal learning experience.

Although she has individual clients Vicki‘s specialty is creating and escorting group travel. For eighteen years she owned and operated a “Group Only” tour operation and had the pleasure to see the world through the eyes and experiences of her group participants.

Vicki has been evolved in all aspects of the travel industry from corporate, leisure, group and incentive travel. Her specialty destinations are Italy, almost all of Europe, Alaska, cruises with every major cruise lines.

Every trip for an individual or group is a new adventure for me and she looks forward to showing you her world of travel with Gwin’s Travel.

Robyn Maze-My love for travel started as a young child growing up in a highly multi-cultural neighborhood where I had the opportunity to experience life with friends from Italian, French, German and Irish backgrounds. I am working toward an associate degree in Travel and Tourism at STLCC Forest Park and plan to complete my degree in 2018. After completion, I plan to continue my education in French history and language. My interests are European history and language, exploring the smaller, less-known European destinations and the food and wine of Europe. My passion for all things European keeps me occupied researching and learning about interesting and fun things to do while traveling abroad. My dream vacation would include a short stay in the Cotswolds, then to Strasbourg to experience true French wine and on to Italy where I can see, touch and experience some of its oldest history.
