For the last few months, we have had the pleasure of shining the spotlight on our wonderful Gwin’s Travel employees. The team at Gwin’s works together daily to bring our clients the best overall travel experience in a way that meets their business’s needs.
This month, the spotlight shines on Rich Weber. Rich is the Vice President of Sales at Gwin’s Travel. He has been a vital part of our team for 10 years. In fact, he began here as an intern creating marketing materials. After the internship was over and his college degree completed, he was offered a full time position. As Rich says, “The rest is history.”
Rich loves the family environment in the office, as well as the excitement of bringing new partners to Gwin’s Travel. He shares that the world of travel has changed a great deal in the past few years, which prompts a piece of advice that will keep our business travelers comfortable and happier: “Business travel isn’t luxurious like it was in the past. If possible, dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. Switch into your ‘business attire’ once you get to the hotel.”
Outside the office, Rich likes a laid back lifestyle. He describes himself as a beach person, and has most enjoyed visiting the Caribbean in his travels. He enjoys playing golf. Rich shared with us his memory of his brother taking him to a Def Leppard concert when he was about 13 years old. Little did he know that he would someday be playing with a band in local St. Louis venues.
So to Rich we say, “Rock on!” We at Gwin’s Travel are very thankful for Rich Weber’s dedication and commitment to our team, our partners, and our customers, each and every day.
